STS-135 Rollout - Atlantis

Posted by
Per (Central Florida, United States) on 4 June 2011 in Documentary & Street.

You knew I had to put one of these "poses" up. Shuttle Atlantis rolling toward the pad and the last launch for herself and the shuttle program.

What an amazing 35 years it's been.

I live on the Space Coast of Florida and enjoy making photographs of things that, for whatever reason, interest me. You'll notice that a lot of my photography is "space" related (goes with the day job), but I photograph just about anything.

Just . . . . beautiful! This is a wonderful shot of the shuttle. I'm going to be really sad to see them retired.

Beautiful night shot. I am still amazed that you get so close even though I have seen this closeness from you before.
